Simmons Foods, Inc. seeks a seasoned Product/Process Development professional to lead cross-functional efforts in developing and optimizing pet-food formulations and processes. You will manage the full product development cycle, mentor scientists, and pilot scale new capabilities across facilities.

The role requires strong technical skills in formulation, process validation, and compliance, with 5+ years in product development, and proficiency with MS Office. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in product development and technical services
• Pet food experience and animal nutrition knowledge desirable
• Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint)
• Experience with Concept 5 and/or AutoCad; knowledge of JDE and IQS a plus
• Strong data entry skills; intermediate to advanced PowerPoint skills

Responsabilités

• Leads identification, recommendation and qualification of process/formulation development capabilities to meet project success criteria and deliver innovation
• Product/Process Development across full development cycle including conceptual development, formulation, validation and scale-up
• Equipment Validation including IQ/OQ/PQ protocols and pilot plant tests
• Nutritional, Regulatory and Finished Product Compliance involving label/declarations and testing
• Process, Operations and Supply Chain Support including transfer among plants and supplier evaluation
• Project and Portfolio Management and reporting to supervisor
