Job summary

Nestlé Purina North America in Eden, NC, now seeks a Production Line Manager to lead a production area at a major pet food facility known for Purina Pro Plan, Purina ONE, and Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diets. You will guide plant operations, drive safety, quality, and cost-efficiency, and provide strategic direction to teams across shifts.

The role requires coaching and cross-functional leadership to implement continuous improvement initiatives and to align with company safety and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 2+ years of experience in a leadership role in manufacturing/production.
• Must be open to relocation to one or more production facilities across the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Operations Manager in developing department and team safe work practices and goals.
• Monitor training and performance to ensure safe attainment of team/department goals.
• Seek opportunities for continued improvement and implement recommended changes.
• Review operations schedule and coordinate with maintenance for preventive maintenance.
• Provide technical and leadership guidance for a 24-hour operation.
• Coach and develop team through regular meetings and 1:1 feedback.
• Communicate cross-functionally on operations, personnel, and budgetary issues.
