Job summary

Nestlé Purina is seeking a Processing Operator at our Zanesville, Ohio pet food facility. You will document ingredients on batch papers, verify amounts, and rotate raw materials using FIFO/FEFO practices and accurate batch coding.

You will inspect equipment, follow SOPs for dry batching, and maintain sanitation in the meat batching areas while working in a safety-conscious environment. Competitive pay and benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Experience with problem solving and continuous improvement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and attend required safety meetings and trainings.
• Maintain knowledge of SOPs for dry batching and equipment operation.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance as required.
• Verify ingredient weights match formula specifications.
• Inspect and remove foreign materials to prevent contamination.
• Maintain sanitation in meat batching areas.
