Job summary

Mars Petcare is seeking an Operator 1 - Filler for our Fort Smith, AR manufacturing plant. You will help load materials, assist with changeovers, and document production data while upholding safety and quality standards to deliver consistent pet food products.

The role requires basic data entry, ability to lift up to 40–50 pounds, and reliable teamwork in a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environment. Mars offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Computer / iPad literate for data entry and retrieval.

Responsibilities

• Operate and load materials to equipment following safety and quality standards.
• Assist in product changeovers on primary equipment.
• Document quality attributes and production data for shift reports.
• Communicate with team to prevent downtime and quality issues.
• Assist during breaks and lunch coverage as needed.
• Maintain food safety and regulatory standards across processes.
