Job summary

PetVet Care Centers’ Olympia Pet Emergency in Olympia, Washington is seeking a Care Coordinator to join our team as a Veterinary Receptionist. This role blends administrative duties with high-quality client service to support urgent veterinary care in a fast-paced setting.

You will manage lobby flow, assist with scheduling, data entry in practice management software, and help with basic pet emergencies while upholding a culture of care across our network of hospitals.

Qualifications

  • 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent
  • 3+ years in high-volume customer service
  • Excellent customer service skills

Responsibilities

  • Provides excellent customer service in-person, over the phone, and in high-stress situations.
  • Manages lobby flow, addresses concerns, calms distressed owners, and schedules appointments.
  • Handles basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety and well-being.
  • Inputs and manages data in practice management software, including billing and accounts.
  • Assists with retail, weighing pets, processing faxes, and maintaining records.
  • Reconciles cash drawer and performs end-of-day duties for accurate financial transactions.
