Job summary

Shared Medical Services in Springfield, IL, an employee-owned medical imaging provider, is seeking a part-time PET/CT technologist to join our #ONETEAM. This role focuses on delivering high-quality nuclear medicine imaging with patient-centered care.

Anticipated schedule includes PRN, 1-3 days per week, with no on-call or weekend duties. Qualified candidates are NMTCB-CNMT or ARRT(N) registry eligible and able to obtain permits as needed.

Qualifications

• Registered/registry eligible: NMTCB-CNMT or ARRT(N)
• Ability to receive permit to practice(s) as necessary
• Successfully pass a pre-employment background check, urine drug screen and physical

Responsibilities

• Perform PET/CT imaging procedures with attention to protocol and quality control
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and effective communication during procedures
• Maintain equipment, adhere to radiation safety standards, and document findings per policy
