Job summary

Summit Health is seeking a PET/CT Tech for per diem imaging services in our outpatient Department of Imaging in New Jersey. The role requires preparing radiopharmaceuticals, CT/PET image acquisition, and ensuring patient safety and data accuracy.

Candidates must hold an ARRT certification as Nuclear Medicine technologist, NJ Radiography license, CPR, and 1–2 years PET imaging experience. Per diem schedule; compensation aligns with market rates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR certification.
• Registered Nuclear Medicine technologist; ARRT certification.
• NJ State licensed Diagnostic Radiography,
• ACR CT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and inject radiopharmaceuticals per NRC/state regulations.
• Acquire quality diagnostic PET/CT images for radiologist interpretation.
• Schedule management to optimize patient flow.
• Maintain safety and infection-control standards per policies.
• Update patient records in EHR and PACS.
