The Nuclear Medicine/PET Imaging Technologist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center performs nuclear medicine in vivo and in vitro procedures using PET/SPECT technology across University Hospital, East Hospital, and The James Cancer Hospital. Imaging rooms provide high quality imaging for patient care.

Under the supervision of Radiologists and Imaging Services leadership, this role handles image processing, data analysis, and supplies images and information to physicians for

Qualifications

• Certification and active registration in Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT-N) and/or NMTCB are required.
• Licensure in Radiologic Technology (Nuclear Medicine) by the State of Ohio is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program.

Responsibilities

• Performs in vivo and in vitro nuclear medicine procedures using SPECT and PET imaging.
• Performs computer processing and image enhancement for diagnostic quality.
• Provides images, data analysis, and patient information to physicians for interpretation.
• Works under direction of Nuclear Medicine Radiologists, Supervisors, and Imaging Services Leadership.
