Qualifications

• CNMT or ARRT(N) certification required.
• Current New York State Department of Health Nuclear Medicine License required.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine and hybrid imaging procedures, including PET/CT and SPECT/CT.
• Prepare, calculate, order, administer, and document radioactive isotopes per protocols.
• Review physician orders and verify patient identity before procedures.
• Educate patients regarding exam preparation and procedural expectations.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout imaging.
• Complete quality control procedures and maintain equipment standards.
• Maintain radiation safety, departmental protocols, and continuing education requirements.
• Collaborate with physicians and imaging team to ensure high-quality patient care.
