Job summary

Shared Medical Services is seeking a PET/CT Technologist to join our #ONETEAM. The role includes competently performing imaging procedures and quality assurance, with no on-call requirements. The anticipated schedule is 3–4 days per week.

Candidates must graduate from a Nuclear Medicine Technology program or near graduation, be registry eligible (NMTCB-CNMT or ARRT(N)), and be able to obtain the necessary permits. A pre-employment background check and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine Technology program or soon to be graduate from a Nuclear Medicine Program
• Registered/registry eligible: NMTCB-CNMT or ARRT(N)
• Ability to receive permit to practice(s) as necessary
• Ability to produce quality special imaging with little supervision
• Successfully pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check, urine drug screen and physical

Responsibilities

• Competently perform imaging procedures, including administering contrast agents and radiopharmaceuticals
• Perform equipment quality check and adhere to quality assurance guidelines
• Maintain compassionate patient care, comfort and safety, while ensuring patient confidentiality
