Mission Pet Health's Clayton Animal Hospital is seeking a Kennel Assistant to provide care for boarding and daycare pets, ensuring proper feeding, exercise, and a safe, clean environment. You will work with a supportive team focused on professional growth and development.

Qualifications

• A genuine love for animals and welfare commitment.
• Reliable, hardworking, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, good judgment, and ability to handle stress.
• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs.
• Previous kennel assistant experience preferred; flexible schedule including some weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide Personalized Care: primary caregiver for boarding and daycare pets, ensuring correct food, exercise, and attention.
• Be the Eyes and Ears of Animal Health: monitor behavior and health concerns, notify medical team as needed.
• Create a Safe and Healthy Environment: maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kennel areas, runs, and grounds.
• Ensure Operational Excellence: manage inventory for food/cleaning supplies and collaborate with team to complete tasks.
