Job summary

Pet Supplies Plus is seeking a Store Team Member to provide neighborly service and support across pet care needs. You may specialize as a cashier, stocker, or pet care specialist while engaging with customers and their pets in a friendly, fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes helping customers, stocking, and caring for animals. Applicants should be able to lift up to 65 lbs, work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and comply with drug screening where required.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older; may require passing a drug screening in applicable states.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to lift 40–65 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Help neighbors pick the right toy or product for a terrier that likes to chew.
• Review and compare ingredient labels of several food brands for a cat owner.
• Fit a squirming dachshund with the perfect harness.
• Educate a sixth grader on bird ownership.
• Stock shelves and ring up neighbors’ purchases.
• Feed all the pets and keep cages clean and neat.
