Mission Pet Health is seeking a Kennel Assistant to join our team in Buford, GA. You will care for boarding and daycare pets, monitor their wellbeing, and maintain a clean, safe environment across our facility.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, good judgment, able to handle stressful situations.
• Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and performing active kennel duties.
• Experience as kennel assistant preferred; some weekends/holidays required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care as primary caregiver for boarding and daycare pets, ensuring correct food, exercise, and comfort.
• Be the eyes and ears of animal health by monitoring behavior and health concerns and notifying the medical team.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment by keeping kennel areas, runs, and outdoor spaces clean and sanitary.
• Support operations by managing inventory and collaborating with the team to complete tasks.
