Job summary

Destination Pet is hiring an Animal Care Attendant for Dog Days. This on-your-feet role involves caring for dogs and other pets, feeding, supervising play, and sanitizing enclosures. You must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training and a passion for animals are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Love for animals and a passion for caring for pets.
• Kennel or animal care experience is a plus for this role.

Responsibilities

• Keep pet enclosures and play areas clean, safe, and sanitized.
• Serve meals and water to pets.
• Monitor health and happiness of guests; report any concerns.
• Oversee playtime and assist with brushing and baths.
• Handle laundry and keep belongings clean so pets have cozy spaces.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
