Job summary

Petco is hiring a Sales Associate to welcome pet parents, help them choose products, and provide friendly, knowledgeable service in our Pet Care Center. You’ll work with a team to maintain a clean, engaging store and ensure a positive shopping experience for every customer and their pets.

You’ll greet customers, assist with product selection, handle transactions, stock shelves, and contribute to inventory accuracy while adhering to safety standards. Evening/weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Passion for animals and interest in pet care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills and comfort handling cash and transactions.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
