Job summary

Petco is seeking a Sales Associate to help customers find the right products, maintain a welcoming and clean Pet Care Center retail environment, and support daily store operations.

You will engage with pet parents, process transactions, restock shelves, and uphold safety and care standards in a fast-paced setting. Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred, with a passion for animals and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills and comfort handling cash and transactions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver courteous, knowledgeable customer service and educate customers on products, services and promotions.
• Process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently.
• Stock shelves, replenish merchandise, and support inventory integrity.
• Assist with store recovery, merchandising, and promotional set-ups.
• Follow all store policies, procedures, and safety standards.
