Animal Clinic of Honolulu, part of Vetcor, is seeking a Kennel Attendant to join our busy, caring practice in Honolulu, HI. This full-time role focuses on boarding care, kennel maintenance, and supporting the veterinary team.

Qualifications

• Previous animal care or kennel experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and patients with warmth and professionalism.
• Provide compassionate care for boarding cats and dogs from admission through discharge.
• Feed, walk, monitor, and provide daily care for boarding patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as directed.
• Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, runs, laundry, and treatment areas while maintaining hospital cleanliness standards.
• Monitor patients for changes in behavior, appetite, or physical condition and communicate concerns promptly.
• Provide bedding, enrichment, and comfort care to help pets feel safe and relaxed.
• Practice Fear Free and low-stress animal handling techniques.
• Accurately document patient care and treatments in medical records.
• Support the veterinary team with daily hospital operations as needed.
