Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate daily care for boarding and hospitalized patients.
  • Feed pets and monitor appetites and behavior.
  • Sanitize cages, runs, litter boxes, bowls, and hospital areas.
  • Bathe and brush patients as needed.
  • Maintain kennel and hospital laundry.
  • Assist doctors and technicians with restraint and medication administration.
  • Collect urine and fecal samples when needed.
  • Monitor patients and report unusual concerns to the veterinary team.
  • Help maintain hospital grounds and light facility upkeep.
  • Follow cleaning and maintenance protocols daily, weekly, and monthly.

Douds Veterinary Hospital is hiring a Kennel Attendant. Kennel team members play an essential role in providing daily care for hospitalized and boarding patients while helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming hospital environment.

Position Details
  • Role: Kennel Attendant / Animal Care Attendant
  • Status: Part‑Time
  • Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
  • Schedule: Must be available to work weekends and holidays

Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate daily care for boarding and hospitalized patients
