Destination Pet LLC is hiring an Animal Care Attendant in Portland, ME. You will keep kennels clean, feed and water pets, monitor their well-being, and assist during grooming sessions. The role is hands-on, on-your-feet, and requires the ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods.

Evenings, weekends, and holidays are required. Experience is a plus; we welcome brand-new candidates who love animals and want to join a busy, pet-loving team.

Qualifications

• Must have a genuine love for animals.
• Prior kennel or animal care experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Keep pet enclosures and play areas clean, safe, and sanitized.
• Serve meals and provide fresh water like a 5-star pet resort concierge.
• Monitor health and happiness of pets, report any concerns.
• Supervise playtime and assist with brushing and bath time.
