Job summary

Destination Pet LLC is hiring an Animal Care Attendant in Rhode Island. This on-site role involves caring for multiple pets, maintaining clean kennels, and ensuring pets are fed and hydrated. You’ll monitor pet well-being and report concerns to the manager, while keeping play areas tidy and safe.

Remaining on your feet, you may work evenings, weekends, and holidays. We value a love for animals and a willingness to get hands dirty; prior kennel experience helps, as does a calm, professional

Qualifications

• 1+ year kennel or animal care experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must be on feet for duration of shift; evenings, weekends, holidays required.

Responsibilities

• Keep pet enclosures and play areas spotless, safe, and sanitized.
• Serve meals and fresh water like a 5-star pet resort concierge.
• Monitor health, happiness, and poop; report anything unusual to management.
• Supervise playtime, tail-wagging, and fetch.
• Assist with brushing and bath time.
• Handle laundry and belongings to keep supplies clean.
• Make tails wag—our real goal.
• Other duties as assigned.
