Job summary

Destination Pet is seeking an Animal Care Attendant at Doggy Haven Resort to help keep kennels clean, feed and hydrate guests, monitor health and happiness, and ensure every pet feels secure and pampered.

You’ll work evenings, weekends and holidays, be on your feet for long shifts, and lift up to 40 lbs. Pay starts at $17.50–$18.00/hour DOE + tips, with DailyPay available, plus benefits like Telehealth, 401K and pet insurance.

Qualifications

• Prior kennel or animal care experience is a plus, but if you're brand new and eager to learn—we want to meet you!
• Willingness to get your hands dirty (literally).
• Ability to stand, walk and climb stairs frequently.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Keeping pet enclosures and play areas spotless, safe and sanitized.
• Serving up meals and fresh water for pets.
• Monitoring health and happiness of every pet guest.
• Reporting unusual items to the General or Assistant Manager.
• Supervising playtime and assisting with brushing and baths.
