Job summary

Countryside Veterinary Hospital is hiring a Pet Care Attendant to join our team. This full-time position involves caring for dogs and cats in both the kennel and hospital areas, including walks, feeding, cleaning, and maintaining a welcoming environment.

You’ll work five days a week, including nights and weekends, ensuring pets feel safe and comfortable while with us. A high school diploma and customer service experience are required.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in a customer service environment is required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly with minimal supervision.
• Caring and compassionate attitude toward pets and people is required.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Walk dogs, including hospitalized patients and boarding guests.
• Clean and sanitize dog runs and cages, and cat cages in kennel and hospital areas.
• Feed boarding pets according to their individual feeding instructions.
• Keep the kennel area clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Interact with clients in a friendly, professional way during drop-off, pick-up, and other daily contact.
