Job summary

PetVet Care Centers Sawtooth Animal Center in Idaho is seeking a Kennel Assistant to support veterinarians and technicians by cleaning, feeding, exercising, restraining and handling pets with compassion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Provides compassionate care to pets.
• Feeds animals as prescribed; records intake, appetite, water, and waste.
• Assists veterinarians and technicians with pet restraint.
• Maintains the cleanliness of the hospital and facilities.
• WALKS patients according to schedule.
• Learn and communicate health recommendations to clients.
• Handle multiple tasks with professionalism while under interruptions.
