Qualifications

• Certificate of completion from a NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant program or equivalent
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, efficient service at all times, ensuring pets and clients are comfortable
• Communicate with the veterinarian and vet techs to coordinate care
• Assist with procedures that do not require veterinarian or vet tech assistance
• Keep treatment areas clean and organized and educate clients about preventive care
• Mentor other hospital team members and support the Five Principles of Banfield
