Job summary

Bark & Mane of Alpharetta is hiring reliable animal lovers for our mobile grooming team. No prior grooming experience is required—we will train the right candidates. Expect hands-on work, direct client interactions, and the chance to grow with a family-owned mobile grooming business.

You'll learn bathing, brushing, nail trimming, and safe handling, driving the grooming van between appointments, and building trusting relationships with pets and their families.

Qualifications

• A genuine love of animals and a patient, compassionate approach.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to learn and follow safe grooming practices.
• Excellent listening, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently after training.
• Comfort with physical work, including standing, bending, and safely handling pets.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform pet bathing, drying, brushing, nail trimming, and grooming services.
• Handle pets gently and safely, putting their comfort and well-being first.
• Communicate with pet parents about their pets' needs and grooming preferences.
• Build lasting relationships through friendly, dependable service.
• Keep the grooming van, equipment, and tools clean and sanitary.
• Safely drive the mobile grooming van between appointments.
• Follow company training, safety procedures, and animal care standards.
• Manage appointments independently after completing training.

You'll learn to provide safe, personalized grooming services in a fully equipped mobile salon, right in our clients' driveways. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, building relationships with pets and their families, and working independently after training.
