Job summary

Clark Pest Control is hiring Pest Service Technicians to protect homes and surrounding areas from pests. Work outdoors, service residential accounts, and help with lawn care tasks as needed.

You will inspect structures, estimate infestations, and communicate with customers while coordinating with office staff. A valid driver's license is required and a pesticide license must be obtained within 90 days, with company-paid training provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No experience required.
• Valid driver’s license mandatory.
• Must obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company-paid).
• Must work independently in the field and manage route-based assignments.

Responsibilities

• Service residential accounts, protecting homes and surroundings from pests.
• Inspect structures to determine presence of pests and assess infestation severity.
• Create diagrams showing infestation type, location and degree.
• Discuss planned work with customers and offer sales opportunities.
• Coordinate with department staff and handle paperwork and collections daily.
• Perform other admin tasks: order equipment, compile reports, call customers about callbacks and service stops.
• Estimate costs, crew time and schedule work.
• Receive and account for company funds.
• Maintain company vehicle and equipment in clean, safe condition.

Responsibilities

We are seeking ambitious and energetic Pest Service Technicians who enjoy working independently outdoors to service and protect homes and surrounding environments from unwanted pest activity.

What You’ll Do

• Control pests, weeds, lawn fertilization, tree/shrub care, and other agricultural pests on‑site in residential accounts.
• Physically inspect residential structures to determine presence of pests; calculate severity of infestations and structural damage.
• Create diagrams and graphs indicating the type, degree and location of infestations.
• Discuss with residential customers the work to be accomplished and provide creative sales solicitations.
• Coordinate activities with department secretaries and other branch personnel, and submit all paperwork and collections daily.
• Perform other administrative tasks at supervisor’s direction: order equipment and supplies, compile reports, call customers regarding callbacks and service stops.
• Determine costs, estimate crew time and schedule work.
• Receive and properly account for company funds collected.
• Maintain company‑issued equipment and vehicle clean and safe at all times.

Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the following duties with or without accommodations:

• Safely use a ladder within manufacturer’s weight capacity.
• Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Work in all weather conditions.
• Must stand, walk, sit, bend, crawl, lift and carry for extended periods in crawl spaces, attics and basements.
• Climb ladders and work at heights, including attics.
