Job summary

Clark Pest Control is seeking a Pest Service Technician (Maintenance) to service homes across California. This role involves outdoor work to protect properties from pests, perform inspections, and coordinate with the team to ensure timely treatments.

You will start as part of monthly cohorts with paid training, receive a company vehicle and gas card, and have opportunities for advancement. A pesticide license is provided and license renewal support is included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No experience required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to obtain pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid).
• Ability to work in the field independently and manage route-based assignments.

Responsibilities

• Controlling pests, weeds, lawn fertilization, tree/shrub care and other agricultural pests on-site in residential accounts.
• Inspecting residential structures to determine presence of pests and severity of infestations.
• Creating diagrams and graphs indicating infestations.
• Discussing work with residential customers and providing sales solicitations.
• Coordinating activities with department staff and submitting paperwork daily.
• Determining costs, estimating crew time, and scheduling work.

Responsibilities

We are seeking ambitious and energetic Pest Service Technicians that enjoy working independently outdoors to service and protect homes and their surrounding environments from unwanted pest activity. The Pest Control industry is not exactly what it may seem. Pest Control is more of a maintenance program to ensure that our customers don't suffer from reoccurring pest activity. Like electricians or HVAC technicians, our ultimate goal is to ensure the safety and well-being of the customers that we serve.

What You'll Do

• Controlling pests, weeds, lawn fertilization, tree/shrub care and other agricultural pests on-site in a variety of residential accounts.


• Physically inspecting a variety of residential structures to determine the presence of pests; calculating the severity of infestations and the degree of structural damage.


• Creating diagrams and graphs indicating the type, degree and location of infestations.


• Discussing with residential customers to discuss work to be accomplished and provide creative sales solicitations


• Coordinating activities with the department secretaries and other branch personnel and submitting all paperwork and collections on a daily basis


• Performing other administrative tasks at the supervisor's direction, including ordering equipment and supplies, compiling and submitting a variety of reports, and calling customers regarding client callbacks and stopped service.


• Determining the costs, estimating the crew time and scheduling work.


• Receiving and properly accounting for company funds collected during the course of business activities.


• Maintaining company issued equipment and vehicle in a clean and safe condition at all times.

Start Date Information:

To support consistent training and onboarding, service technicians begin employment as part of a monthly cohort. The next scheduled start dates for this role are July 13th, 2026 and August 10th, 2026.
