Job summary

Clark Pest Control is seeking a Pest Service Technician to service homes and protect environments from pests. The role includes field work, on-the-job training, and a company vehicle with gas card.

Monthly cohorts start July 13, 2026 and August 10, 2026, with paid pest licenses and advancement opportunities. Employees receive medical, dental, vision, life insurance and a 401(k) with company match, plus paid training and licensing reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No experience required but valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to obtain the pesticide license within 90 days (company paid).
• Ability to work in the field independently and manage route-based assignments.

Responsibilities

• Service and protect homes and surrounding environments from pest activity.
• Inspect residential structures to determine presence of pests and infestation severity.
• Create diagrams and graphs showing infestations and locations.
• Discuss work with customers and provide sales solicitations.
• Coordinate with department staff and submit paperwork and collections daily.
• Perform administrative tasks including ordering equipment, compiling reports, and contacting customers.
• Determine costs, estimate crew time, and schedule work.
• Receive and account for company funds collected during business activities.
• Maintain company equipment and vehicle in clean, safe condition.

Pest Service Technician (Maintenance)

Responsibilities

We are seeking ambitious and energetic Pest Service Technicians that enjoy working independently outdoors to service and protect homes and their surrounding environments from unwanted pest activity. The Pest Control industry is not exactly what it may seem. Pest Control is more of a maintenance program to ensure that our customers don't suffer from reoccurring pest activity. Like electricians or HVAC technicians, our ultimate goal is to ensure the safety and well-being of the customers that we serve.

What You'll Do

• Controlling pests, weeds, lawn fertilization, tree/shrub care and other agricultural pests on-site in a variety of residential accounts.
• Physically inspecting a variety of residential structures to determine the presence of pests; calculating the severity of infestations and the degree of structural damage.
• Creating diagrams and graphs indicating the type, degree and location of infestations.
• Discussing with residential customers to discuss work to be accomplished and provide creative sales solicitations
• Coordinating activities with the department secretaries and other branch personnel and submitting all paperwork and collections on a daily basis
• Performing other administrative tasks at the supervisor's direction, including ordering equipment and supplies, compiling and submitting a variety of reports, and calling customers regarding client callbacks and stopped service.
• Determining the costs, estimating the crew time and scheduling work.
• Receiving and properly accounting for company funds collected during the course of business activities.
• Maintaining company issued equipment and vehicle in a clean and safe condition at all times.
• Start Date Information:
  To support consistent training and onboarding, service technicians begin employment as part of a monthly cohort. The next scheduled start dates for this role are July 13, 2026 and August 10, 2026.
