Job summary

Rocket Pest Control is seeking a Pest Service Professional to inspect homes and properties, identify pest problems, remove pests, and design treatment plans including IPM.

You will maintain schedules, communicate with customers, and follow safety protocols; requires HS diploma, 30-day training, valid license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to work Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of 30-day initial training and earning minimum of two CEU’s annually.
• Valid driver license and must be 21 years of age.
• Ability to walk, lift 50 lbs or more.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Must be able to work Saturdays.
• Pass a seven-year criminal background check.
• Pass company drug screen and/or substance testing.
• Pass three-year motor vehicle report and meet insurance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Maintain service schedules for all customers on assigned route, calling customer prior to their service.
• Inspect/Troubleshoot pest infestations and implement sound pest control strategies.
• Communicate with customers before, during and after service delivery.
• Monitor infestation/rodent areas and pest application methods and report progress to customers and management.
• Respond to customer requests in a timely manner.
• Participate in ongoing training programs to improve skills.
• Complete and submit service-related paperwork promptly.
• Maintain assigned service vehicle, equipment, and tools in good condition.
• Adhere to driving laws and company policies when operating vehicles.
• Ensure data integrity in PestPac and other systems.
• Assist in Sentricon termite bait station checks.
• Participate in collections efforts.

Our Position

Pest Service Professional will conduct home and property inspections by identifying potential and actual pest problems, remove unwanted pests including but not limited to roaches, rats, ants, bedbugs, etc., and offer and sell services on how to effectively treat infestation areas and design further control strategies such as Integrated Pest Management.

Your Responsibilities

• Maintain service schedules for all customers on assigned route, calling customer prior to their service.
• Inspect/Troubleshoot pest infestations as needed to employ sound pest control strategies to maintain a pest free environment for customers on assigned route.
• Communicate effectively with customers prior to, during and after service delivery in order to assess and meet their needs.
• Continuously monitor infestation/rodent areas and pest application methods (i.e. baits, traps, etc.) after application and communicate progress to customers and operation managers.
• Respond to customer requests in a timely manner.
• Participate in ongoing training programs to constantly improve upon skill level.
• Complete and submit service-related paperwork in a timely and orderly fashion.
• Maintain assigned service vehicle, equipment, and tools in clean/good working condition.
• Adhere and abide to all driving laws/company policies when operating company vehicles.
• Responsible for data integrity in the PestPac and other software systems used by the organization.
• Assist in Sentricon termite bait station checks.
• Participate in collections efforts.

Our Requirements

• Complete a minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Position requires successful completion of 30-day initial training (classroom and field training) and earning minimum of two CEU’s annually.
• Must have a valid driver license and be 21 years of age.
• Must have the ability to walk, climb, stoop, reach, crawl, crouch, kneel, push, pull and lift a minimum of 50lbs or more.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication, with particular emphasis during telephone calls, follow-ups, and in-person correspondence.
• Ability to calculate basic math.
• Must be able to work Saturdays.
• Must be able to pass a seven-year criminal background check.
• Must be able to pass company drug screen and/or substance abuse testing.
• Must be able to pass three-year motor vehicle report and meet minimum eligibility requirements criteria of insurance carrier.
