Job summary

Kingsland & Lake LBJ Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center is seeking a Pest Control Technician to inspect residential and commercial properties, identify pest issues, and apply treatments. You will educate customers on prevention and maintain accurate service records.

The role requires excellent customer service, attention to detail, and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. Field work includes outdoor sites and confined spaces, with potential for a company vehicle and ongoing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required pest control licenses and certifications.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a service route.
• Comfortable working outdoors, in crawl spaces, attics, and other confined areas.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Inspect properties for pest activity and conditions conducive to infestations.
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans.
• Apply pesticides and pest management solutions safely and according to regulations.
• Document inspections, treatments, and service recommendations.
• Communicate findings and prevention strategies to customers.
