Job summary

Ehrlich Pest Control is seeking a Pest Control Technician to perform residential pest management, inspections, and treatments. You’ll identify pests, apply safe control methods, and provide preventive advice to customers while communicating clearly about options and results.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, following safety standards, and complying with regulations. A valid driver's license and a high school diploma or GED are required; training begins on day one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license from the state of residence.
• Possess licenses/certificates as required by regulations (covered by us).
• Open to learning and becoming knowledgeable in all areas of pest control.
• Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills; basic math skills to follow product labels.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify signs of pest infestations, damage, and entry points.
• Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, to effectively eliminate pests.
• Educate customers on pest prevention methods and the importance of maintaining a pest-free environment.
• Build relationships with customers, schedule and confirm appointments, assist with sales to current customers.
• Ensure pest control equipment is maintained, stocked, and in good working condition.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations regarding pest control products and safety.
