Job summary

Viking Pest Control is seeking a Pest Control Technician to consult with customers about pest issues, perform treatment applications, and maintain service quality. The role includes selling additional services, following safety procedures, and meeting daily route goals.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a drug test and background check. Availability on Saturdays is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read labels and follow directions.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Ability to work Saturdays as needed.
• Must have off-street parking for company-issued vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Consult customers to understand pest issues and determine the scope.
• Resolve customer pest issues.
• Apply pesticides or the product as directed.
• Remove cobwebs around the perimeter of the home.
• Set and remove traps as needed.
• Provide service notes to clients.
• Follow daily route to ensure services are completed efficiently.
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations.
• Sell new services to existing clients.
• Close leads as directed from the sales team and branch manager.
• Provide updates to branch manager as needed.
• Other duties as assigned
