Job summary

Orkin is hiring professionals to join its pest-control team. The role offers award-winning training, no prior pest control experience required, and opportunities for career growth within a trusted, mission-driven company.

You’ll operate a company vehicle with a gas card on assigned routes and receive comprehensive benefits from day one. As an Orkin Pro, you will follow route schedules, prioritize safety, and document all service activities using a handheld device.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to obtain pesticide license within the first 90 days (company paid).
• Ability to work in the field independently, manage route-based assignments, and interact with customers in businesses or homes.

Responsibilities

• Complete our award-winning training to learn the skills and knowledge required to serve our customers (Orkin Pro).
• Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
• Follow a route schedule and daily operation schedule within an assigned territory and ensure timely and safe arrival at each customer’s location.
• Operate a company vehicle safely and ensure cleanliness of the vehicle and equipment.
• Conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
• Serve as a problem solver for each customer by listening to their needs and recommending efficient solutions.
• Meet with customers to explain actions taken, ensure satisfaction, and discuss additional services.
• Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s property and learn how we teach you to do so.
• Communicate with customers to explain actions and discuss services to give peace of mind about pest management.
• Complete all required service-related documentation in a handheld device for speed and accuracy.
