Job summary

Rentokil North America, Inc. is seeking Pest Control Technicians to perform residential pest management, inspections, treatments, and client education. You will conduct thorough property inspections, identify infestations, and apply appropriate treatments while upholding safety standards.

You will also educate customers on prevention, build relationships, schedule appointments, and assist with sales to expand services. A valid driver’s license is required and training will be provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Must possess a valid driver's license from state of residence.
• Licenses/certificates as required by regulations.
• Available to work Monday-Friday and weekends as needed.
• Willing to learn pest control basics.
• Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math for mixing on product labels.
• Customer-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify signs of pest infestations, damage, and entry points.
• Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, to effectively eliminate pests while adhering to safety standards.
• Educate customers on pest prevention methods and the importance of maintaining a pest-free environment.
• Build relationships with customers, schedule and confirm appointments, help with sales to current customers, and expand our product to new customers.
• Ensure pest control equipment is properly maintained, stocked, and in good working condition.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding pest control products and safety protocols.
• Drive and safely operate a company provided service vehicle.
