Job summary

Rentokil North America is seeking a Pest Control Technician to perform residential pest management, inspections, and treatments, while advising customers on preventive solutions and safety procedures.

You will apply approved products, maintain equipment, and build customer relationships. This role requires driving a company vehicle and meeting regulatory safety standards.

Requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to learn and grow in pest control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to drive a company vehicle.
• Customer-facing experience is preferred.
• Basic math and reading/writing skills are required for instruction and records.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify pests and entry points.
• Apply pest control products, baits, and traps following safety standards.
• Educate customers on pest prevention and future risk reduction.
• Build relationships with customers, schedule and confirm appointments, and assist with sales.
• Ensure pest control equipment is maintained and stocked.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal pest control regulations and safety protocols.
• Drive and operate a company-provided service vehicle with routine maintenance.
