Job summary

Rentokil is seeking Pest Control Technicians to perform residential pest management services, including inspections, product applications, and customer education. You will work with safety protocols and communicate solutions to clients, while maintaining equipment and following regulations.

The role involves service-vehicle operation, scheduling, and potential sales support within a customer-facing environment across multiple properties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Willing to learn and comply with safety regulations.
• Strong reading, writing and verbal communication skills.
• Available to work Monday–Friday and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify signs of pest infestations, damage, and entry points.
• Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, to eliminate pests while following safety standards.
• Educate customers on pest prevention methods and importance of a pest-free environment.
• Provide advice on how to reduce the risk of future infestations.
• Build relationships with customers, schedule and confirm appointments, and assist with sales to current customers.
• Ensure pest control equipment is maintained, stocked, and in good working condition.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding pest control products and safety protocols.
• Drive and operate a company-provided service vehicle.
