Job summary

Crane Acquisition, Inc. is hiring Crane Pro pest control technicians in Fremont, CA. The role includes award-winning training, a career with growth potential, and benefits beyond basics.

You’ll operate a company vehicle with a gas card, earn competitive pay, and contribute to community service initiatives. No prior pest control experience is required as comprehensive training is provided, with eligibility to obtain a pesticide license within 90 days.

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to obtain the pesticide license within the first 90 days (company paid).

Responsibilities

• Complete our award-winning training to learn the skills and knowledge required to serve our customers.
• Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
• Follow a route schedule and daily operation schedule within an assigned territory and ensure timely and safe arrival at each customer’s location.
• Operate a company vehicle safely and ensure cleanliness of the vehicle and equipment.
• Meet with customers to explain actions taken, ensure satisfaction, and discuss additional services.
• Complete all required service-related documentation on a handheld device.

The Crane Pro commits to safely and professionally providing the highest level of protection and service to their customers on a designated service route. Their career starts with in-depth, award-winning training that prepares them with the skills needed to succeed in the responsibility of daily route operations, scheduling, issue diagnosis and treatment planning. With each customer, Crane Pros work to understand problems and do the right thing to resolve them.

• Meet with customers in their businesses or homes to explain actions taken, ensure satisfaction, and discuss additional services that would give them peace of mind about their pest management
• Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s property—don’t worry, we teach you how!
• Communicate with customers to explain actions taken, ensure satisfaction, and discuss additional services that would give them peace of mind about their pest management program
• Complete all required service-related documentation in a handheld device provided for speed and accuracy

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• No Experience Required – we’ll train you to be a Pro!
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid)
• Ability to work in the field independently, manage route-based assignments and interact with our great customers inside their businessesand/or homes

What will my work environment be like?

Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodations:

• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity
• Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc. including the ability to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) which sometimes requires an OSHA-compliant respirator
• Willing to work in different types of weather conditions
