Stark Exterminators, Inc. in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a full-time Commercial Pest Control Technician to provide IPM-based service to commercial customers. You’ll inspect facilities, identify pests, and implement targeted treatments to protect the client's operations.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, completing service reports, and working a flexible schedule to meet client needs. Company benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, and life insurance.

• Pass and maintain state regulatory licensing/certification exams.
• Pass internal technical exams.
• Possess current Driver's License.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Present a professional appearance including wearing an Arrow uniform.
• Able to work a 40-hour (minimum) workweek.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule depending on customer service requirements.

Stark Exterminators is looking to hire a full-time Commercial Pest Control Technician to provide uncompromised service to commercial pest control customers utilizing an Integrated Pest Management approach (IPM).

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A COMMERCIAL PEST CONTROL TECHNICIAN

Your hours may vary as a Commercial Pest Control Technician because some of your accounts can only be serviced outside normal working hours. Your work is important to your customers as you will be an integral part of protecting their facilities and the products they provide from infestation. Each customer is unique, and your services will vary depending on whether you are servicing offices, hotels, restaurants, manufacturing, or mixed-use facilities. Your services start with a thorough inspection of the property to assess any problems and properly identify insects, rodents, pest harborage areas, and conducive conditions. You will apply expertise and problem-solving to treat for and prevent pests. This includes the meticulous inspection and maintenance of bait boxes, traps, and monitor boards. Each day is an opportunity to demonstrate your professional commitment to creating an awesome experience. Your calm, helpful demeanor puts our customers at ease as you devise and describe a personalized solution. You always take pride in your work and keep your equipment and vehicle in proper operating condition.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to pass and maintain any state regulatory agency-required licensing/certification exams
• Able to pass internal technical exams
• Possess current Driver's License
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Present a professional appearance including wearing an approved Arrow uniform
• Able to work a 40-hour (minimum) workweek
• Willing to work a flexible schedule depending on customer's service requirement
