Job summary

Orkin, a Rollins, Inc. brand, seeks an entry-level Orkin Pro to join our pest control team in Ohio. You’ll provide top-tier pest protection, communicate clearly with customers, and learn the trade through paid training from day one. You’ll work outdoors and indoors in varying weather, with opportunities to advance into leadership roles.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain pesticide license within 90 days (company paid).
• Lift up to 50 lbs and access crawl spaces safely.
• Willingness to climb, crawl, and work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-tier pest protection with clear customer communication.
• Identify pest issues inside and outside homes or businesses.
• Explain findings and recommend services to inform customers.
• Follow safety protocols while conducting treatments and using equipment.
• Handle company vehicles, tools, and materials responsibly.
• Log findings and complete service reports using handheld devices.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

• Provide top-tier pest protection, communicate clearly, and demonstrate customer focus in every interaction.
• Identify pest issues both inside and outside homes or businesses , full training provided.
• Explain findings, answer questions, and recommend services that help customers feel secure and informed.
• Follow all safety protocols while conducting services , handling equipment, and applying treatments to protect yourself, your team, and customers.
• Handle company vehicles, tools, and materials responsibly while adhering to best practices.
• Use handheld devices to accurately log findings, complete service reports, and track customer interactions efficiently.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid)
• Use a ladder safely within the manufacturer’s weight capacity.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), which sometimes requires an OSHA-compliant respirator.
