Job summary

Northwest Exterminating is hiring a Universal Service Professional to serve customers on-site across our local routes. You’ll be out on the road, independent, and responsible for protecting homes and businesses from pests while delivering exceptional service.

No experience is required; training will be provided. A valid driver’s license and a commitment to safety are essential. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• No prior pest control experience required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with internal and external customers to create Customers for Life.
• Manage your service route with strong time management and task adherence.
• Perform residential pest control, mosquito services, and termite inspections.
• Monitor termite bait systems and ensure proper function.
• Provide consistent communication with customers to keep them informed.
• Collaborate with customer service, sales and other service professionals for a great experience.
• Apply pest control products following label directions and safety guidelines.

Your responsibilities:

• Building Relationships: You’ll create lifelong connections with both internal and external customers, helping to ensure they’re satisfied and loyal. Your goal is to create “Customers for Life” by delivering excellent service every time.
• Managing Your Service Route: You’ll be responsible for the daily operations of your Universal Service Route, using strong time management skills to stay on track and complete all necessary tasks.
  • Perform residential pest control, mosquito services, and termite inspections.
  • Monitor termite bait systems to ensure they’re functioning properly.
  • Problem-solve customer accounts to address both current and future needs.
  • Provide consistent communication with customers to keep them informed and satisfied.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including customer service, sales, and fellow service professionals, to ensure an outstanding experience for each customer.
  • Apply pest control products in accordance with label standards and safety guidelines.
• Safety First: You’ll maintain a safety-first mindset, especially when operating company equipment or driving your company vehicle. Your commitment to safety helps ensure the protection of both yourself and the people you serve.

Qualifications

What you need:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• Ability to work in the field independently and manage route-based assignments

Physical Demands / Working Environment:

• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to safely operate a company vehicle for extended periods. Travel may include short stops or longer routes between counties or service areas.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc.
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
