We are seeking a hard-working, innovative, detail-oriented, and creative team player to join our Aptive team! This is a full-time Pest Control Technician position located in the area around Suffolk, VA. The position reports to our office in Virginia Beach, VA once per week. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a team environment and excels individually.

Compensation and Benefits

• $15 - $19 an hour

Responsibilities

• Manage daily routes addressing customer pest concerns
• Maintain truck and equipment
• Keep accurate treatment records
• Handle pesticides following laws and safety standards
• Provide expert pest solutions tailored to customer needs
• Service all route customers per company standards
• Advise customers on potential issues
• Report problems to management
• Maintain pesticide inventory
• Work in your local area
• Carry a backpack weighing approximately 50 lbs
• Work every other Saturday

Qualifications

• No experience necessary; training provided
• Valid US driver's license for at least 3 years
• Clean driving record (no more than one moving violation in past year, no more than two in past four years)
• Drug test and background check required
