Job summary

HomeTeam Pest Defense is seeking a Pest Control Technician to join our Florida team. You will service homeowners on your route, diagnose pest issues, and maintain your license while representing a professional, tidy image with the company truck and uniform.

This full-time role comes with a competitive pay range of $45K–$55K annually, a benefits package including medical, dental, and vision, a company vehicle and gas card, a 401(k) plan, tuition reimbursement, and opportunities for advancement

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED
• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Meet physical job requirements and perform duties with or without accommodations

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to homeowners on your route
• Present a professional appearance, including your truck, equipment and uniform
• Discuss and diagnose pest issues with homeowners, offering additional services when needed
• Maintain your pest control license and attend seminars to keep knowledge current
• Submit legible, accurate service tickets to the office
• Work independently with motivation and focus
• Occasionally work Saturdays to finish the week’s route

As a HomeTeam Pest Control Technician, you can expect to:

• Provide exceptional customer service to homeowners every day as you work your route
• Present a professional, tidy appearance, including your company truck, equipment, and uniform
• Discuss and diagnose pest issues with homeowners, offering additional services or products when needed or desired
• Maintain your pest control license and keep your knowledge sharp by attending pest control seminars regularly
• Submit legible, accurate service tickets to office staff
• Stay motivated and focused while you work independently
• Occasionally work Saturdays to finish out the week’s route
