Orkin is hiring motivated individuals in Pittsburgh to protect homes and businesses through expert pest control. You will receive paid training from day one and gain access to company vehicles, devices, and support to succeed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid).
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Wear PPE, including an OSHA‑compliant respirator when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-tier pest protection and excellent customer service.
• Identify pest issues inside and outside homes or businesses; full training provided.
• Explain findings, answer questions, and recommend services to keep customers informed.
• Follow all safety protocols while conducting services, handling equipment, and applying treatments to protect yourself and others.
• Log findings and service reports using handheld devices and track customer interactions.
• Handle company vehicles, tools and materials responsibly and ensure proper use.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide top-tier pest protection, communicate clearly, and demonstrate customer focus in every interaction.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid)

• Use a ladder safely within the manufacturer’s weight capacity.

• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc.

• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), which sometimes requires an OSHA‑compliant respirator.
