HomeTeam Pest Defense, Inc. in Peoria, IL is seeking a Pest Control Technician to provide exceptional service to homeowners along your route, maintain a professional appearance, and diagnose pest issues.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, ongoing license maintenance, and participation in training seminars; a high school diploma or GED is required, and the company offers a comprehensive benefits package and a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to homeowners on your route.
• Present a professional, tidy appearance with equipment and uniform.
• Diagnose pest issues and discuss additional services when needed.
• Maintain your pest control license through ongoing training.
• Submit legible, accurate service tickets to office staff.
• Work independently with motivation and focus.
• Occasionally work Saturdays to finish the week's route.

Responsibilities

As a HomeTeam Pest Control Technician, you can expect to:

• Provide exceptional customer service to homeowners every day as you work your route
• Present a professional, tidy appearance, including your company truck, equipment, and uniform
• Discuss and diagnose pest issues with homeowners, offering additional services or products when needed or desired
• Maintain your pest control license and keep your knowledge sharp by attending pest control seminars regularly
• Submit legible, accurate service tickets to office staff
• Stay motivated and focused while you work independently
• Occasionally work Saturdays to finish out the week’s route
