Job summary

Orkin is seeking motivated individuals to join our pest control team in Kentucky. No prior pest control experience is required as we provide award-winning training from day one. You’ll protect homes and businesses, learn hands-on techniques, and grow within a company with 120+ years of stability.

You’ll work in a supportive, field-based role with a clear path to leadership or sales, plus comprehensive benefits and a competitive earning potential of $50k–$60k in the first year with commission.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to obtain pesticide license within the first 90 days (company paid).
• Lift up to 50 lbs and use a ladder safely; PPE incl. respirator may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide pest protection, communicate clearly, and prioritize customer service.
• Identify pest issues inside and outside homes or businesses; full training provided.
• Explain findings, answer questions, and recommend services for customers' peace of mind.
• Follow safety protocols while conducting services, handling equipment and applying treatments.
• Handle company vehicles, tools, and materials responsibly while adhering to best practices.
• Log findings and customer interactions using handheld devices.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide top-tier pest protection, communicate clearly, and demonstrate customer focus in every interaction.

• Use handheld devices to accurately log findings, complete service reports, and track customer interactions efficiently.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid)
• Use a ladder safely within the manufacturer’s weight capacity.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), which sometimes requires an OSHA-compliant respirator.
