Job summary

Clark Pest Control, Inc. is hiring a Pest Control Technician to service residential accounts across California. You’ll work outdoors, inspect properties, and implement pest-control plans while maintaining safety and customer relations.

No experience is required and paid training with pesticide license support is provided. A valid driver’s license is required, and you’ll join a team that values reliability, autonomy, and career advancement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No Experience Required!
• Ability to obtain pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid)

Responsibilities

• Serve residential accounts and control pests on-site.
• Inspect structures to determine infestation severity and structural damage.
• Create diagrams indicating infestation type and location.
• Discuss work with residential customers and provide solutions.
• Coordinate activities with department staff and submit paperwork daily.
• Perform other administrative tasks, including ordering equipment and submitting reports.
• Determine costs, estimate crew time and schedule work.
• Receive and properly account for company funds collected during business activities.
• Maintain company vehicles and equipment in safe, clean condition.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an ambitious and energetic Pest Control Technician that enjoys working independently outdoors to service and protect homes and their surrounding environments from unwanted pest activity. The Pest Control industry is not exactly what it may seem. Pest Control is more of a maintenance program to ensure that our customers don’t suffer from reoccurring pest activity. Like electricians or HVAC technicians, our ultimate goal is to ensure the safety and well-being of the customers that we serve.

What You’ll Do

• Controlling pests, weeds, lawn fertilization, tree/shrub care and other agricultural pests on-site in a variety of residential accounts.
• Physically inspecting a variety of residential structures to determine the presence of pests; calculating the severity of infestations and the degree of structural damage.
• Creating diagrams and graphs indicating the type, degree and location of infestations.
• Discussing with residential customers to discuss work to be accomplished and provide creative sales solicitations
• Coordinating activities with the department secretaries and other branch personnel and submitting all paperwork and collections on a daily basis
• Performing other administrative tasks at the supervisor's direction, including ordering equipment and supplies, compiling and submitting a variety of reports, and calling customers regarding client callbacks and stopped service.
• Determining the costs, estimating the crew time and scheduling work.
• Receiving and properly accounting for company funds collected during the course of business activities.
• Maintaining company issued equipment and vehicle in a clean and safe condition at all times.

Qualifications

What You’ll Need

• Ability to work in the field independently and manage route-based assignments
