Job summary

HomeTeam Pest Defense is seeking a Pest Control Technician to provide excellent service to homeowners along your route. You will maintain a professional appearance and gear, discuss pest issues, and propose additional services as appropriate.

You will keep your pest control license up to date through seminars and submit clear service tickets. The role involves working independently with occasional Saturday shifts, and offers ample room for advancement within the company.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED.
• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to homeowners on your route.
• Present a professional, tidy appearance including truck, equipment and uniform.
• Discuss and diagnose pest issues with homeowners and offer additional services as needed.
• Maintain pest control license and stay updated by attending seminars.
• Submit legible, accurate service tickets to office staff.
• Stay motivated and focused while working independently.
• Occasionally work Saturdays to finish the week’s route.

• Discuss and diagnose pest issues with homeowners, offering additional services or products when needed or desired
• Maintain your pest control license and keep your knowledge sharp by attending pest control seminars regularly
• Submit legible, accurate service tickets to office staff
• Stay motivated and focused while you work independently
• Occasionally work Saturdays to finish out the week’s route
