Job summary

PestCo is hiring a Pest Control Service Technician in Iowa City, IA to provide pest remediation and prevention solutions for commercial or residential structures. You will estimate treatments and manage ongoing maintenance, ensuring on-time appointments and adherence to safety policies.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication and customer service skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. A valid driver's license and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift to 50 lbs and be able to kneel and bend as necessary for a job.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
• Self-motivated and results driven.
• Valid Driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Pest Control experience or Pest Control License (Preferred but not required)

Responsibilities

• Provide pest remediation and prevention solutions to commercial or residential structures.
• Provide estimates for one-time treatments and ongoing maintenance to new and existing customers.
• Complete all scheduled customer appointments on time in accordance with all applicable Company policies and local rules and regulations.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for customers by implementing the most efficient and overall best pest solution for each customer's individual needs.
• Use all safety equipment as instructed.
• Maintain professional appearance and equipment in working order including but not limited to vehicle, uniform, application equipment, PPE, paperwork, and literature etc.
• Devote your full attention and time, during working hours, to the performance of your duties and responsibilities as directed by your supervisor and the Company.
