Job summary

Western Pest Services in Cape May, NJ is seeking a Pest Control Technician. The role involves working Monday–Friday, 6am–5pm, with overtime and weekend availability.

You’ll complete a two-month, company-paid training and assist customers with pest control for homes and businesses, inspecting attics, crawlspaces, and interior/exterior areas. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a pesticide license within 90 days.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Requirements

• High School/GED or better
• Valid Driver’s license
• Must be 18 years of age

Physical Demands / Working Environment

We will consider for employment all qualified applicants in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable federal, state and local laws. Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the following job duties with or without accommodations as well as the ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid):

• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc.
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions

Salary Range

$20.00 - $35.00 per hour
