Job summary

Orkin is seeking motivated individuals to start a long-term career in pest control. We offer paid training from day one, no prior pest control experience is required, and you’ll join a support-driven team focused on safety and service excellence.

You’ll inspect properties, protect homes and businesses, and communicate solutions clearly. Expect comprehensive benefits, a vehicle and equipment provided, plus opportunities to advance into leadership roles.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to obtain pesticide license within first 90 days (company paid).
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and work in crawl spaces, attics, rooftops, etc.
• Wear PPE, including respirator when required.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers professionally on your daily route and provide top-tier pest protection.
• Inspect properties and identify pest issues; training provided.
• Communicate solutions clearly and empathetically to customers.
• Recommend additional services that bring peace of mind.
• Operate and maintain company vehicles and equipment safely.
• Complete reports and documentation on a handheld device.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required


• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid)


• Use a ladder safely within the manufacturer’s weight capacity.


• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.


• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc.


• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), which sometimes requires an OSHA-compliant respirator.
